When life hands you melons, you know you're dyslexic.

Light.
Flashing brightly
Through the windows
Of her hospital room

As she is lying alone

And wondering when she'll go home

But she knows she can't
Because she's too ill
And time passes
Too slow
Again
But silently
So very silently
Time will stop completely

And she knows deep inside

That it may not start again
So she just sits alone
Wondering about her life
And the family
She's leaving
Behind.
