A room without a book is like a body without a soul.

Lovely, new
Dawn's colors come
As a day of blue
Starts as flowers hum
In springtime's coming joy.

Pale, bright
Flowers range
As they take in light
And weather changes
To water thirsty flowers

Yes, I love nature. I'm a nature girl, off-roading, photography, and yes, hiaku. I like to write hiaku, but they are so short that I can't get them just right.

I'm glad that you like my simple, to-the-point poetry. ;D

You're inspired by nature, aren't you?

Have you ever thought of writing haikus? I know they're very rigid but they too are often inspired by nature. Haikus also make people try to describe things in different ways than they normally would.

I like this poem. I love how you write: so simply and to the point, yet so beautifully. I wouldn't change a thing.
