I Am Poem
I am a Naive Adolescent.
I wonder if cats will fly and pigs will pounce.
I see flooded clouds and dying daisies.
I want nightmares to live through the dreams.
I am a fascinating child.
I pretend to be sand and break the waves.
I believe that watches skip time, and quarters slip on a dime.
I touch the pastel inside my thumbnail.
I fell the pressure not to slip and sail.
I worry that my creation might fail.
I hope that lighting doesn't strike me with an argument.
I know I am stuck under cement.
But what can I say, I am a naive adolescent.
I understand that life can come, and life can be sent.
I guess you can say...I arrived at the event.
