Starry Night

Under this starry night
We lay without a fright
Learning of ourselves
Through the lips of someone else

Laying on the ground
We don't hide ourselves
And open up inside
And let the other in

Inside of ourselves
We learn about each other
Through an open mouth
And with an open soul

Under this starry night
Just a normal night
We both have seen
The other side of me

Hey Adam, it's Emily. Your poetry is astonishing, and I think you should get published in a magazine. Well, Good luck, and I hope you succeed.
