The day finally came
I didn't know what to expect
This day would decide my future in only a few sentences
This day could ruin my life as I knew it
This day could bring happiness
This day could be the day that I would look foolish
This day would decide my future
I opened the letter and the first word I saw was 'Selected'
That one second changed my life, forever
I had my future in front of me
I could feel success on my skin
A feeling that will never fade away as fog does
It will stay forever
I am going to high school
