That lonely figure, eyes of light fading, fading
People passing by as if they don't see
Standing on a bridge, quietly waiting
'Maybe someone will soon come for me'
Thought the figure, searching, searching
That lonely figure, eyes of light fading, fading
As time passes, childish hope disappearing, older
Please, a kind hand for that soul, still dreaming
Remind the figure before that heart becomes colder
There are others too searching, searching
