You and I were best friends
but thats something of the past
And oh, the wonderful times we had,
but are friendship didn't last
I was the crazy one who said

So I offered you my heart
the best part I could find
you put in yours to fill the place
were was the piece you offered I

and best friends did we become
and all went well a year or two
but then that day had come
When something came between us
and pried us both apart
And then we left each other
and went back to the start
