My Old Best Friend
We drew our names in the sand
Our backs, again, were getting tanned
We drew a heart around names
Not for love, but for friendship
It was one of our silly games
One of many we played
We always danced around like no one cared
I can still feel the love we shared
5 years have passed
We always thought our friendship would last
We each other now and then
We say a simple hello
Though my heart feels like jello
Looking at you, my old best friend
