Brown eyes stare at me in a soothing tone;
I smile faintly, covering up my joy;
Not wanting him knowing I'm not alone
But for what reasoning, he's not a boy,
But growing; a man is before my eyes
I want the best for him every day
But he came loving me, what a surprise
I don't want this feeling to go away
Finally happy and content with life
Never thought that this day would ever come
My life is no longer with any strife
I finally know happiness has come
This amazing journey has been freeing
This love made me realize it's worth seeing
