The angel placed the flower on the grave
Tears kept on flowing and couldn’t stop yet
The pain that you had felt wasn’t just pain
Watching as the family grieved the dead
Done with the pain and the hate and the lies
Lost in the thought of what he did tonight
The children couldn’t stop with the cries
The angel had known that it was his time
Bless be the name in the father and son
Now in eternal life he’s in heaven
