Bring em the nighttime melody
It beckons softly to me
Hear the hush of the waking sleep
Bring beauty out of darkness so deep
And in the palm of His hand
God keeps every soul
Charm me out of the slumbering depths
To see what the night keeps hidden
Watch over the whirling, waking
Whispering
Winds on the world
Charge me with amazement
Entrust me with dreams
Wrap me in warmth
And give me wings
I'll float over the sleeping trees
Drift over the endless seas
And come to rest on a melody
Called down, and waking
