My heart is broken to pieces
Seeing You
All dressed up in your uniform
Ready to go
You have to leave for Iraq
I try my hardest not to cry
Not to whimper but to be strong as you usually are
For my baby sister
But you walk out the door, I start to cry
Then you give me that sympathetic look, I smile
You kiss everyone goodbye, Then you're off
On your way to fight for your country and win
We will write and call and keep in touch in all ways possible
Off, Off
To Iraq you go
Love is sent with you
Love. Love
Off, Off
You go we will keep in touch
We will, We will
