Jesse, my letter to you

images rushing
faster nearer
bodies touching
focus clearer

a puddle
a memory
it's amazing
just how childish we could be

late night talks
laying in bed with no word spoken
this vision so close
yet out of reach

of laughter
so real so free
who could've made you smile
was it really me

bike rides
anytime anyplace
another release
from the rat race

with a impish grim
a mischievous glance
my god I remember
now that was romance

stupid inside jokes
times we spent fighting fades
memories of us gone in a blink of an eye
i will always remember

as I awake from my daydream
once again I find
I've been reviewing
home movies in my mind

The author's comments:
This piece i wrote, is to a ex boyfriend of mine. That is what inspired me to write it is because i had thought if maybe i could remind him about what we had maybe just maybe he would come back. All we are are good friends and i don't want that to happen.. i wanted everyone to know that this is how i feel when i see him and that you can write poems about anything, anything you can possibly think of. just remember to have fun with it.
