Sometimes I can hear your voice
When the sky is dark and the stars are blue
But its not like you never knew
Sleeping with thoughts of you becomes a tragedy
The light of the night makes everything tight
Making tensions build in my mind
I want to call you
Lets just disregard my exhaustion
And let your sweet voice ring
Take the night away to tomorrow
Where I still hear your sweet voice anyways
Over the morning wake of the birds
I hear the soft sound that comforts my every muscle
I don't care if I get in trouble
Cause I couldn't last with all the rubble
Of my crumbing mind that cannot survive without you
Your like the sun
And I like the plants in need of the sunlight to survive
There is no bond going in reverse
But sometimes I feel your need too
So when we talk at this hour
The world becomes just you and I
Who cares about the scolding eyes
And the yelling souls
They don't know
This lovely bond we share
