She marched swiftly down the stairs
Her thick curly hair trailing closely behind her Animated face.
Only to rapidly whirl around
The brightly painted Wall
Into the lavender sweet-smelling space.
Which caused her delicate face to beam
In sheer delight.
The calming air swept across the room as she Settled on her chair.
Closing her dainty blue eyes she listened,
She closely viewed the distinct pictures in her mind.
Red and pink.
Orange and blue.
Rainbows of color.
The vibrantly painted images.
Beautiful roses.
A bright sunny sky.
A bouquet of balloons.
She pictured as she rocked
In the creamy white chair.
Back and forth.
Back and forth.

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem because I sometimes picture colorful sweet images in my mind and I have places I like to go and drift off into those dreams and get away from all of my stresses. Only for a while.
