I took this blade
To skin.
What if
I cut
So deep
That I bled you a pretty red river.
Until I was
Drowning
In crimson.
What if
I cried so much
That I made you an ocean.
Until I was swept away
By the saltwater tide.
Would you rescuse me
Or watch me slip under?
Would you hold my hand
Or let me fade away?
What if I loved you
So much
That my heart was shattered.
Until I made you a wasteland
Of decaying love.
Would you love me?
Or watch me fall to pieces?
