Please misses disease
your nimble fingers, withered from days of aching and whining
oh please misses disease
all of my love is found vicariously
from lovers and the way they touch
all of my sardonic humor will last me no longer
for i am the being i've come to despise
I am the man whom all should not converse with
I am the man who is alone in the universe
so please misses disease
take me
kill me
but come with me
so, at least
you and I shall live out eternity
me, and you
you and me
I shall be devout to thee

The author's comments:
i think this was a song, originally....now it's sort of that broken heart syndrome poem....i think it's ok.... it's not as long as i'd like it to be, but it's straightforward, so it's OK....i'll have to find some of my older work...this is juvenile, really, in retrospect...

i think that this poem has a very deep, underlying meaning to it. good job !

According to Greek mythology, humans were originally created with four legs, four arms and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them apart, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other half.

this is a poem that you have to disect to find its meaning. i really like it! :) it's intriguing.
