color my world in black and white,
for it's not worthy of the rainbow
bring flowers of melancholy,
for they will never feel the warmth of the sun
mend the heart with the earthquake look,
for it's been dismembered once again
she's looking for someone to hold her close
to bring her firey hell about ground
they all underestimate all of her strength
so she proves them wrong with words and actions
her smile brightens up a room
but never can brighten up her own
she needs to see the glimmering light
to change her mind of this mixed up world
she needs to set free
so she can feel the sun on her skin
the wind through her hair
the love from his heart

i really liked the begining, and where it was going, but (no offense, just some writer to writer critisism) it kind of fell apart in the end. it's still a good poem, but i think with little work, it could be great. =]
