A cloud
A cloud was here today
In this blue, blue sky
It blocked the sun,
To my eye
A short time,
A simple glimpse
The forecast shimmered
Beneath my skin

Yes it was the wind
The summer wind
Fresh as dawn,
When the day begins
With a musk of nighttime,
Without winter or snow
But the cool, cool, cool breeze
Come down, weak to the knees

So I shimmered with the sun,
Yet it was ok
I understand why
Just later one foggy day
I no longer shimmered in such short, dim light
'maybe it was because I had no one to hold tight

The summer wind,
It calls my name
Stranger in the night,
No longer the same
Yet in winter, fall, or spring,
It's as if it never happened,
On the outside
But inside
My heart aches
The pains never sweep away
The wind cannot, two breaths at bay

I remember that day,

I shimmered with the sun,
Yes, it was alright
I understood why
On that lonesome night,
I no longer shimmered like such a time,
'maybe it is because I have no one to call mine.

This is nice, but it could use some grammar editing. The mistakes interrupted the flow of the poem and a little bit of editing could really help it a lot.
