I am the rain
Showering down on the earth
Creating life all around me
I am hated but loved
Annoying but needed
Keeping all things alive
Cooling down the hot earth
Quenching its thirst
Some say I am the tears of sadness from the sky
I believe I am the tears of joy
I fill the land with water
Keeping everything happy and healthy
I am the rain
And I will come whether you like it or not
