The poster said to spread my wings,
But I’ve looked in the mirror.
I see no giant, grey, angular protrusions
Stemming from my shoulder blades
Or delicate, sparkly, pale pink petals
Rooted in my spinal column.
I thus conclude
That my feet must do.
