Finding you in that distressed way
My memory will not erase.
So long ago when you came to me
Forever I memorized your face.
We fought the battle together
I feared to leave you alone.
Always being the one to catch you
My support was always shown.
I held you close when you were broken
Many wounds you felt back then.
Such time it took to make it better,
To have you now break once again.
