I Am The Moon

I am the moon…
No Light of my own…
Yet I reflect the Son’s Light every time the world darkens…
When I am fully exposed to the Son, I am full, and whole
And I shine to the world and brighten the night
To show true beauty…
Without the Son I am unseen and meaningless…
No light would pierce the world’s darkness without me…
I expose the world to Light…
It is not my own…
I’m a reflection of the Son…
I am the moon…
The Son was here and will come again…
I am the moon…
