Using Me

You’re a waste of space that id do anything for,
And you know it.
This is the reason why you take me for granted
And use me only as
Your salvation from boredom,
And your comfort
When she is not around.
And as much as that little slice of you makes me happy,
When you leave me I am torn apart all over again.
One day I will learn to say no
And you will no longer use the fire in my eyes to light your cigarette,
Because I will be setting someone else’s world on fire.
