Racing Thoughts

My mind is racing and churning and burning and
yearning for answers and knowledge.
My eyes are searching and looking and
feeling everything that surround me.
My hands are shaking and quaking and pressing
a pen hard onto the paper with purpose.
A million thoughts run by yet nothing
transfers through my hands to the page.
It’s so hard to find words when millions
are passing through in one fleeting thought.
My mind now is slowing and blanking
and stopping.
Suddenly I can’t think about anything at all.
