Summer was riding my bike around town
Taking in the scent of the fresh cut lawns
Summer was swimming on a blistering day
Absorbing the cold water and blazing sun
Summer was walking evenings,
Watching the sky change striking colors
Summer was traveling with my family
Embracing being somewhere fresh
Summer was jumping and stunting
In practices extreme heat
Summer was free
