My Life
You gave me love,
Showed me the meaning of life,
And made me feel like nothing could stand in my way.
Then out of the blue you walked out,
Left me alone with a broken heart,
Life just shattered at my feet,
Mountains and walls were built.
How am I to live now?
With a life of no meaning,
Or with no reason.
I now fear love,
And afraid to love again.
And now the mountains are too high to climb,
And the walls to high to jump.
Finally I rise above.
I jump over the never ending wall,
And now know life's full of meaning.
I now know I can withstand anything.
