"Where theres a will, theres a way"

The years have passed cold and gray
It feels like my heart has nothing else to say
When death comes and life leaves
I know you're always in the trees
Waiting with every breath I take
Every wind gust carries your spirit
Every time I listen I can hear it;
Loud as a yell, soft as a whisper
Reminding me of that faithful day
When the sky turned dark and gray

I wrote this poem about a year ago in grief camp after my father was killed by a drunk driver. It has alot of sentimental value
