Washington Blues

I can't believe that you could deceive me

Why couldn't I receive thee

I'm like pollen you're like a bee

You're flyin by

Don't even take the time to say hi

I can't even say goodbye

Why do i even try

You make me want to cry

But i don't I'm getting better

Not wearing my heart on my sweater

Eyes aren't getting wetter

Just the opposite

I'm like a dried up faucet

Then I smile

I'm going to be here quite a while.

I hate rhyming a lot, but that was great :)

And I'm usually really evil with criticism, but it had the right about of sarcasm and cliche to make it loveable.

Obviously there's lots of room to expand and give it something more.
