I am not White, Mexican, African American, or Chinese.
I am me.

I am not any race or religion.
I am me.

I am swirls of purple, green, black && white, and every other color ever made.
I am me.

I don't control the world, and the world doesn't control me.
I am me.

I am not the most important creature on this planet, but I'm never forgotten.
I am me

I am just simply me'

The author's comments:
This poem was written when I first entered high school my freshman year, I saw so many groups and cliques. I first was intimidated but then i realized I am just simply me, no cliques, no groups.
