Thrown a life line
Just for it to be cut off when you most need it
You said you would be there
You told me it would all be okay
Now I'm wondering why I trusted you
Why I let all my hopes be pinned on you
Only to leave me suffering alone
You hammer the last nail in the coffin
My glimmer of hope smashed with it
I will never escape
You talk about how it wasn't your fault
How you would never do it again
What next time?
