My Dog, Large And Black
Eyes, Wide And Sorrowful
Tail, Long And Bushy
Ears, Silk Ribbons Flapping In The Wind
Best Friend Is Always Waiting For The Signal, "It Is Time To Play"

.......My Friend.......

My Dog, Black And Large
Franticly Searching For That Favorite Ball
Pea Brain I Call Him, head Cocked Sideways
He Tries Desperately To Understand Me
Best Friend Thinks He Is So Very Smart, But Really He Is Not

.....My Friend Who I Love.....

My Dog, Large And Black
Tail, Curls Tightly When He Is Thinking Hard
Tongue, Hangs Out His Mouth When He Is Tired
Mouth, Always Open With his Favorite Ball Inside
Best Friend, A Race Car Lapping The House When He Hears Me Coming Home

.......My Friend........

My Dog, Black And Large
Although Part Of The Family, The Couch Is Off Limits
But The Warm spot I Feel On The Cushion Gives Him Away
Would Never Tell On My Brother Or My Best Friend
Best Friend Whose Heart Is Gold, And His Nerves Are Like Steel.

......My Friend Who Loves Me......
