Nightly Wonder
The night is crisp,
The long fresh wind is like a lisp,
My hair blows silently as I walk,
I am free from the worldy lock,
The stars shine as if to smile,
As I walk down my moonlit mile,
My eyes seem to wonder,
As my feet unfortunately blunder,
This night makes me think,
Into my thoughts I seem to sink,
My life suddenly passes me by,
I stop myself and take a deep sigh,
My hands get deeply cold,
My arms then I quickly fold,
My eyes drift and I see my home,
I would finally leave the night alone
