Jenny
Jenny
Alone, she sat
waiting, watching,
wondering.
She could feel glares
burning holes in her flesh,
coming from every direction.
The anticipation and
anxiety
began bubbling up furiously
deep down inside her.
The clock seemed to be
taunting her,
poking fun at her
insecurity.
Just a few more seconds,
and it would all be
over,
at least for now...
Hopefully, Jenny's second
day of school
would be better than
her first.
