I sit in the sun
Watching the people walk by
Where are they going?
Why am I stuck inside?
My head will explode
With another yelp of that dog
One good smack
One smack is all I need
If only I could reach
I'll sit in the sun
Warming my fur
Aw, they're back
Time for that cat nap
I see
