If you ever want to come back, I'll wear stilettos so I can reach your shoulder.
If she tires you with her petty games, I'll cope with you, the unspoken sidekick. If the chlorinated summer air brings back too much, we'll suffer in silence and harmony.
If you can't seem to stand the pain in my eyes, I'll lock it up in a drawer and make you something with the key.
No matter what happens there once was a you and me. There it'll be etched forever in history.
If they find out will you deny or accept? If she runs first, will you follow her or take the road that leads astray? What would happen if she were to smash your heart today? Would you wallow in remorse or follow the path back to me? Whatever you choose I'll be standing there.
