the calm before the storm
the buzz before the drunk
it happens; and yes she WAS/IS fake, but its whatever
my life is built and teeters recklessly on beer can pyrimids and simple rhyme schemes
im just another teenager nodding my head when the songs slow down and then screaming out loud when the bass starts to hit just right
screw a love song
screw an inspirational hymn
jazzy blues just make me blue
i dont like the music because i relate to it
i just like something that makes me feel good and act stupid
i dont like you because your a good person but because youre here and im here
were both stuck here so why not right?
long live nights that seem to end to soon
long live that feeling you get when she says "i love you" but makes it sound more like a question than a statement
viva la heartbeat
viva la beat period
i say my rosary the connection between two people who've never met but still smile
to the man who gives his last nickle to the guy begging for change
or better to the idea of handing out true change like nickles and dimes
so from the f.m skylines to lines at the gates of heaven, drones and masses of the masses nod thier heads waiting for the world to scream out loud
for that one magical moment when mans voice reverbs into the heavens and echos gods
we live for that moment

This poem was VERY intriguing. I don't think like you do, but I'm very interested at how you write. Check out my poem at TeenInk.com/raw/Poetry/article/83793/To-Become/ It is very different from your piece, but I hope you like it. Please comment on my page, keep writing.
