Our Word

By , el dorado, KS
Its escaping me,
the perfect word to describe
what we have
what we've done,
and what we'll keep doing.
It reminds me of searing blue and yellow,
and makes me want to sing at the top of my lungs,
until i am are so weak I cant say hello.
It feels like flying, and dancing, like we're constantly singing the song I can't write because of that
nonexistent word.
Its fast and glad, and desperate,
and gleaming and dripping with our future,
as bright as the stars we sit and watch until the closest interrupts our serenity.
I looked through every page, flipped through every language, but there is no word for us.
No word for the fast moving world we live in, or to encompass the feelings, no matter how many hard days, we still smile.
We cant imagine not having this,
its so bright blue. So constant and contrasting from the natural
that we want to feel like flying and

It's like a constant blanket surrounding my heart, even though its melting, and I'm warm and your cold,
and making up from fights,
eating vanilla ice cream on my back porch,
sleeping on floors when the bed's still available.

there is no word to tell you that I love you so much that
everytime i think of you,
I want to tell you you make my life like that word.

my life is a concert,
fun and loud and full of different moments of feelings,
but always euphoric,
not wanting to think it might end soon,
just focus on the song.

Our song.
The song I cant write because of our word.
