I'm collecting dust waiting for you
I've been waiting on this shelf
For what seems like forever
Wishing you would come and open the door
You would finally see that I'm everything you need
My talents are beautiful designs of reds and greens
The blues and yellows on my handle
Show you who I am
You just keep walking by
Never notice me sitting there upon the shelf
You're perfect in every way
I wish you could see that I am too
I've got beautiful flowers all over me
You think that they would make you look
You don't
If you were to pick me up
I'm almost sure you would break me
Living in a glass case of emotion
With no where to go but down

I wrote this about a boy who means the absolute world to me but he doesn't even notice that I'm here willing to be in a relationship with him. He sees me as just a friend.
