His Stare
It was the way his stare made her feel
Like she was the only girl in the world
Like he was really, truly interested in what she had to say
Like she was beautiful
Like so many other feelings
She could never find the words for
Whenever she imagined his face she saw the stare
That wonderful, incredible stare
She could lose herself forever in his eyes
She loved him
Despite all his faults,
Things she told herself would never be the qualities
Of a man she dated
She loved him
And she would never stop
