A Bit Of Light

The Old Rose
From The Wooden Bench To Say:

"If Only I Had A Bit Of Light
To Cheer A Gloomy Day
I Would Stand Above The Others
And Show Them How To Pray
By Making A Difference In Someone's Life
I Could Probably Change So Many
Possibly Two, Maybe Five, But May Even Be Twenty
With A Little Bit Of Light On A Gloomy Day
Anyone Can Help Guide From Falling Astray
Just Sit Down, Listen And Begin To Pray."

His Ideas Of Light And Prayer
Impact Our World Today

I realize the first line was meant to say, "The Old Man Rose From The Wooden Bench To Say..."

Yet even without the missing word present, this is a powerful poem with outstanding visuals.

Thank you for sharing this moving poem with us!
