the silence seeps in
and the thoughts grow stronger
the feelings fade away
and the hurt gets smaller
the sound of a silent voice
gets louder but
not peircing
gets softer
but not quiet
its simple but
complicated
i watch the memories
in your eyes
passing by like time
the sound of a silent voice
is mesmorizing to my ear
it never seems to leave
like a lulliby
the rain falls like tears
from your face
the sound of a silent voice
is the only sound i hear
the only feeling i feel
a mask to the past thats
forgotten
burried in lies
seeking truth
something the sound of a
silent voice will never tell
