Silent Crime

As leaves fall off the dead and broken tree,
As grass slowly and silenty dies,
As birds fly away,
Leaving the singing melody behind,
As blank yet meaningful tears fall from my eyes,
As doors slam and shut,
As cries emerge from the darkness,
As I think of you as a nothing,
A person I never want back in my life,
As silent screams throw words from wall to wall,
I am not the enemy,
But yet the victim,
Of a silent crime.
