If there ever comes a day
where star maps are never mistaken
where destinations are reached without delay
a day where the North Star guides the lovers
safely home to remain in their ecstasy
unperturbed, bathing in golden light
a virtuous bond, bettering the world
a day ending with a flawless evening lying on the grass,
such a day would not be worth living'

If there ever comes a day
where Fate, greeting me warmly
does not set obstacles in my path
a day where her heart, kindled by love
is not discouraged by the lowest of actions
and against an onslaught of adversaries
unwavering, unhindered, marches onwards
a day ending with her emerging from the ambush victorious,
such a day would not be worth living'

If there ever comes a day
where Gravity releases us from His embrace
and lets us travel freely through the cosmos
to orbit the Sun like a gas Giant
where our skin would evacuate this mass
a day where space would peel this outer shell
and drain it of content and scrape it clean
a day ending with our frail skeletons swimming the Universe,
such a day would not be worth living'

If there ever comes a day
where the world is encompassed by prayer
a day where not a sin is breathed
a civilization of perfect people
where there is no violence and no conflict
where peace and harmony reign supreme
and law enforcement is obsolete
a day ending with achieving Heaven on Earth,
such a day would not be worth living'

If there ever comes a day
where dark messengers, shrouded in gloomy mist
do not work to veer us from our proper judgment
a day where fallen angels do not stretch their wings
to raise the dead and spread disease
that corrupts the spirit and perverts the soul
that destroys hopes and freezes progress
a day ending with our battered bones lying crumpled in an icy wasteland,
such a day would not be worth living'

If there ever comes a day
where pulses never ceased
a day where souls were not yanked skyward
or dragged down after Judgment
where immortals tread our mortal plane
and gods dropped down to battle devils
and us, furious in neutrality, fall in the crossfire
a day ending with red smoke eternally lingering on the battlefield,
such a day would not be worth living'

If there ever comes a day
where the moon's pale silhouette
is not painted against the starry sky
a day where midnight, with its evil designs
does not twist around buildings and trees
to mimic our shadowy, dark puppetry
to claw at throats of the righteous
a day ending with stealing the treasures of the mind,
such a day would not be worth living'

If there ever comes a day
where men achieved their hearts desire
without an inch of effort
not shedding a drop of blood
not a moment of trials
a day where blessings descend without a single prayer
where trust abounds with no good reason
a day ending with the innocent being spared for being innocent,
such a day would not be worth living'

If there ever comes a day
where pain does not trigger growth
where cold has no heat to oppose
where deeds have no sins to redeem
where knowledge has no ignorance to clarify
where violence has no peace to shatter
where ideology has no logic to balance
where light has no darkness to cleanse,
such a day would not be worth living,
nor pondering for that matter
I would much rather abandon this dimension of man
to take my place among the gods.
