That special
That cold
That marvelous night

That night I drove to Rapids
Corner of fifth and Lincon
To the club that resides there

A few bands playing that night
Entertainment for all to see
But I was there to judge
One particular band

Cool band
Hard band
Rock band

Four guys all sixteen
Seth, Dallin, Jeremy
-Jack-

Jack the drummer
Cool drummer
Ape drummer
Cute drummer

He the reason I was there
The reason I wouldn't complain
Even if I was shivering
From my music note necklace
To my purple painted toes

He's who I was judging
Perfectionalness
Kidness
Compation
But most of all
The one thing I wanted to see for

myself
-Looks!-

Ranked high in all rounds
-nice
-loved music like I
-real gentlemen too
Looks even got a 10!
Perfect guy to me

The band was good(what I herd)
My mind was on him
Wishing he thought of me as I of him

Everyone enjoying themselves
Moshing and head banging
I tried too
But red hair caught in pink lip gloss

Dad got tired
Of sighs and daydreaming
Snuck outside and around the back

I reluctantly said goodbye
To Jack
Shaking his hand
Welcoming the wormth of him
Nice change against harsh bitter cold

We left (sigh)
With me talking like a cheetah running

Was beyond exhausted
But pumped full of adrenalin

Before I slept
Underneath the sparkling night
I wish upon a star
That one day
Just one day
I'd find myself
Friends with that guy
That perfect guy to me

This poem I wrote for a school project. The night I talk about actually happened and the guy is real. He is an awesome guy and is a great musician, even though he drums like a monkey. LOL! Hope you enjoy and tell me what you think! Thank you for reading.
