I met a man today
make of smoke and ember
although he never said it,
I believe his name was cancer.
I asked him where my grandpa was,
he said he won't be coming home because
you know he's gone away
he was burned two weeks ago today.
I signed and cried for a time
but thought how appropriate it was
now he's ash
just like his stash
he ever so did love.
