The long Black Door

I walk up to the long black door.
I see my fate, my doom.
I slowly grab the long brass door knob.
I take two long breaths.
I turn the knob with excitement, fear, and adrenaline.
I push open the long black door.
I see my fate, and its great!

I don't usally write poetry, but my to pieces have been poetry. The reason behind that would be I am trying to get better at it.
