His face went cold,
My eyes began to water,
when he turned his back,
I knew it was over.

I couldn't listen to his words,
my world was coming to a end,
and then those words,
"I just want to be friends".

Those words were so empty,
almost like pretend.
Those words meant nothing,
cause soon that would end.

I knew it all to well,
the akward silence
would never come an end
so i watched.

As he walked pass
another tear ran down my face
I quickly wiped it away
and walked the other way.

I couldn't bare
to let him see me cry
cause to him
I was just another girl.

In another life
that he would leave behind.
