I loved you
but now I've moved on
To another who fascinates me
but now he's gone
He wrote it out like a teacher teaches to her students
or like a preacher ministers to the church
like a bird sings while in perch
You made me laugh
you made me cry
but I guess you've already said goodbye
We could be friends and nothing more
you loved me as a friend but you loved my friends more
