Anger Metamorphosis

Flavors of Anger thirst within me
Sensations of joy have fled

I am a black animal
Enraged after being parched
Thirsting for revenge
I let my instincts overpower me

Locked in a cage that was once a room
Kicking
Screaming
Scratching
Ripping

Injured from hurt
Sinking slowly with tears in my eyes

'when
BANG!
Anger tastes now of fear
As a chair slides to the door
Ears ringing
Window screeching
I fly through the air
Landing like a panther

Storming down the street
Anger tastes of disgust
Suddenly ashamed of what I said
Ready to go home and crawl in bed
